IreneB, Spanish singer, released through her Facebook her first Christmas song, ‘Can’t Wait To See You (On Christmas Day)’, for free. The song was produced by Frankie Biggz and written by Roy Lucio and herself.
Barcelona, Spain. IreneB releases, at last, a Christmas song. An optimist Christmas song, full of rhythm, that reminds us of the fifties style doowap. With it the singer wants to share the joy of the holiday season with a lil’ ditty that promises to become a holiday flagship song for this time of year.
At least, that’s the intention that the artist had when composing this song: “Christmas is the most charming time of the year, and since Mariah Carey, the queen of Christmas, released her “All I Want For Christmas Is you”, every year I set up my Christmas tree listening to her.” – the singer admits. “So this year, since the release of my second record, “Welcome Back”, I’ve felt a special support coming from my followers and so I wanted to give them this present as a “thank you” and to join them in the celebration of this special time of the year.”
And this is, indeed, a true present, because even though the song will be commercially released on December 18th – along with a Karaoke and an Instrumental version – IreneB lets her followers download ‘Can’t Wait To See You (On Christmas Day)’ for free on her official Facebook. All in the name of true Christmas spirit.
